The Chairman of the State Committee of Water Economy of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration Vahe Hakobyan received the Delegation of KfW Bank

On September 10th 2014, the Chairman of the State Committee of Water Economy of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration Vahe Hakobyan received the delegation of KfW Bank. Deputy Chairman Gagik Khachatryan and Head of Staff Mher Mkrtumyan were also present at the meeting.The Delegation of KfW Bank consisted of Mr. Arne Goose - Head of Division of KfW Bank, Ms. Mona Ahmed- Project Manager, Mr. Thomas Wolf - Engineer and Armenian Representative of KfW Bank Zara Chatinyan.

Vahe Hakobyan highly appreciated the cooperation with KfW Bank. Meanwhile emphasizing the effectiveness of implementing projects, he expressed his hope that the mutual collaboration will be maintained and the current projects will proceed. The representatives of KfW Bank delegation emphasized the importance of the RA Government support in the projects and expressed satisfaction for cooperative work.

During the meeting the current situation in the water sector, as well as a number of issues directed to further improvement and development of the sector were discussed. The participants of the meeting referred to the 560 rural communities not involved in service areas of water supply companies and the issues of Kaps reservoir construction.
